Privacy Policy
1 — What we collect
- Account data: email address, your name if you enter it, country and sign-in method.
- Waitlist: email, country, what you produce and your preferred dialect.
- Content: the texts you enter, the texts generated for you, the resulting audio files, your brand profile and your pronunciation dictionary.
- Usage: number of characters and requests, voices selected, and technical logs (IP address, browser type, request time) to protect the service.
- Payment: we do not receive your card details; they are processed by the Merchant of Record, from whom we receive the subscription status, transaction number and country for tax purposes.
2 — Why we use it
- To provide the service: converting your texts to speech and remembering your profile and dictionary.
- For quotas, billing, abuse prevention and detecting prohibited use.
- To contact you: trial invitations, subscription notices and support. We do not send marketing without your consent, and you can unsubscribe from any message.
- To improve the service with aggregated statistics that do not identify you.
We do not use your texts or audio to train AI models, and we do not sell your data to anyone.
3 — Retention
- Audio files: seven days, then deleted from our servers (download them before then).
- Entered and generated texts: thirty days for support and abuse prevention, then deleted.
- Account, profile, dictionary and usage data: as long as your account exists, deleted within thirty days of its deletion, except what must be kept by law (billing records).
- Waitlist: until launch or until you ask us to delete it.
4 — Who processes your data with us (sub-processors)
- Cloud infrastructure and processing providers, including Google Cloud (hosting, databases, text and speech processing), which process data under terms that prohibit using it to train their models.
- The Merchant of Record for payment and tax processing (Paddle, the Merchant of Record and seller).
- The email provider for service messages (Brevo).
Data may be stored and processed in data centres outside your country (in the European Union or the United States) with appropriate contractual safeguards.
5 — Your rights
You may access, correct, export and delete your data, object to its processing and withdraw your consent, by writing to support@sawtstudio.com or from your account settings. We respond within thirty days. If you reside in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, your rights under the Personal Data Protection Law are preserved as they are, and you may file a complaint with the competent authority.
6 — Cookies
We use only the cookies needed for sign-in and form protection, and no advertising tracking cookies. We may use aggregated visit measurement that does not identify you.
7 — Security
Data is transmitted encrypted, service keys are kept in secured vaults that never leave our servers, and internal access is limited by need. No system is absolutely secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you and the competent authorities as required by law.
8 — Minors
The service is for people aged eighteen or older. If we learn of an account belonging to a minor we delete it.
9 — Changes
We publish any change here with its date, and notify subscribers by email of material ones.
